What is Kundalini Yoga...how can it help me?

Kundalini yoga is a deeply somatic practice, that’s a real mind, body, spirit re-set.

This practice is hugely helpful for stress relief & an anxious busy mind. It really helps in re-balancing the nervous system, steadying the mind & releasing stored tension & emotion from within the body.

Kundalini Yoga - Awakens Your Inner Power.

In a Kundalini Class - you step into a sacred space of transformation.

This is more than a yoga class - it's almost like a spiritual HIlT class for your mind body & soul.

Through powerful breathwork, kriyas, mantras & meditative stillness, we tap into the dormant energy within, awakening clarity, creativity & connection.

Kundalini Yoga can be a perfect practice to support the neurodivergent mind, offering structure, stimulation, focus & grounding.

Yoga, only not as you know it - Some things have to be experienced to be understood...Kundalini Yoga is one of those things!

Whether you're new to Kundalini or deepening your practice, this experience will leave you feeling elevated.

When I say I teach Kundalini Yoga… the first thing most people say is ‘ I’m not very flexible’.

My heart breaks a little to hear this response & to see how this sacred practice that has the power to root us so deeply to the present moment, to our bodies & our breath, has often been reduced to little more than a stretch class. The deeper purpose behind why we practice often feeling lost or forgotten.

Yoga in its true sense,  has nothing to do with flexibility. Flexibility of the mind - maybe. We move our body in Yoga, so we can still our minds & connect more deeply.

Yoga literally means ‘union’ or to ‘yoke’ ‘to attach to’ - to what though…? Simply put, (and this is a big conversation) but to something greater than we are alone. What that looks or feels like is uniquely yours.

In Kundalini yoga, we go to the edge. We enquire with curiosity as to what we can hold in any given moment. We give ourselves permission to begin again. We ask ‘where can I soften?’. We trust our breath. We trust ourselves within that moment & we give ourselves permission to rest into the moments in-between & simply notice - notice everything within ourselves.

In a kundalini yoga class, magic literally happens.

You come bank to balance. You come back to yourself…and this is something truly beautiful to experience & to witness.
