What Exactly are Women's circles...how can I benefit from them...?

Historically referred to as red tent & moon circles, women’s circles are a beautifully created, sacred and safe space. They are created for women, by women.  Circles are a welcoming & supportive environment in which women can be heard, held & seen without judgment.

We hold space for each other, we share & partake in ancient rituals & practices often linked to earth celebrations & festivals, lunar activity, or specific scared calendar events. This is where I incorporate Kirtan within my circles basing some of the work I do in circle around the Hindu Yogic calendar.

The connection we experience at these circles helps bring us closer to each other, our true selves & the planet.

A circle is a space for self-reflection & rest. There are often rituals, like the burning of cleansing herbs, anointing of essential oils, meditation, intention-setting, or co-creation of & sitting with an altar of meaningful objects.

You are encouraged to kick your shoes off at the door, don some fluffy socks, comfy clothes & allow yourself to sink into the deep relaxation that comes from understanding & accepting yourself exactly as you are.

A women’s circle is an amazing opportunity to meet other like minded people & to share the wisdom of our experience & practices.

Attending many retreats and groups, I discovered the power when women gathered & that is why it is a huge passion of mine to facilitate Women’s Circles locally. (keep an eye on my social media for details). I use Kirtan, Meditation, Ritual & Sound as part of my Women’s Circles.
